I began my weight loss journey in January of 2014. It wasn’t a new year’s resolution. In fact, 2014 was the one year I didn’t make any resolutions, and yet it was the year I changed the most. 2014 was the year I learned–really learned–that if you want a better life, you have to stop wishing and start doing.
It didn’t happen all at once. But one good habit slowly turned into two, which turned into three, and before I knew it, I had lost over 40 lbs, quit smoking, and dramatically improved my finances.
